Indonesia Raid Redemption is a seven-track album by American singer/songwriter JoJo released on June 28, 2016 by UNO Nashville with executive producers Sam Watters and Lewis Martineé. The album debuted at number 6 on the US Billboard 200 chart with 34,000 album-equivalent units.The songs are connected with common themes of love, redemption, forgiveness and gratitude. JoJo initially planned to release the album in 2015 but was pulled out due to creative differences between her label and herself during the recording process of the project which ultimately led to its indefinite postponement. She stated that she wanted "to make sure it's everything I want it to be". She also thought that she needed more time to fully complete the new songs.It was originally planned to contain 10 or 11 tracks but 7 were ultimately included in the final release. JoJo said why she decided to include "I Am" on the album: "I think it's a beautiful song; it's about finding inner strength and believing in yourself, and I feel like it's become very relevant with the new presidential election." She described this song as one of her favorites on the album.JoJo started recording sessions for her third studio album in late 2014. She had plans of releasing an acoustic album, however these plans were eventually canceled after switching label from Atlantic Records to UNO Music Group. She described the recording sessions as "uncomfortable", adding, "I didn't feel like I was being heard or respected." She also said the label wanted her to make records that she was not interested in making. She further explained that she got frustrated because the label would tell her what they wanted her to record but she felt it wasn't right.After leaving Atlantic Records, JoJo started recording new material for the album without a record deal. During this time, she felt "isolated" and was constantly worrying about how to pay the bills. But she told herself that if this project would not work out, she would have to go back to working at Starbucks, where she previously worked before her career began. In May 2016, there was speculation that JoJo had exited the label. According to her management, "JoJo confirms it is still very much an ongoing situation...No decision has been made yet about her future."Six of the songs were produced by songwriter/producer Sam Watters. These writers included James Fauntleroy, former A&R for Atlantic Records, who has worked with acts such as Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift; Lewis Martineé who is best known for his work with Tracy Chapman; and Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys fame. After Carter came up with a rough sketch for a song, JoJo worked on arranging the song. The seventh song entitled "I Am" was written by JoJo. She told "Closer", a British publication, about why she wrote the song:The album has been released with a complimentary DVD of her music video for "Too Little Too Late".

As of June 2016, the album is only available as a digital download as there is no CD version.
